Cay Galgon Life House has been chosen as one of 20 nonprofits to receive a $5,000 grant through Crayola’s annual $100,000 Challenge, a regional philanthropic initiative in partnership with the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley. For the fifth consecutive year, Crayola has encouraged employee giving and community impact through this inspiring program.

The Easton-based company, celebrated for igniting creativity worldwide, engages employees in the challenge through a unique raffle. Participants nominate a nonprofit organization to receive $5,000 of the Challenge funds. When the campaign kicked off in September, over 600 employees eagerly joined the effort, all sharing a commitment to making a difference.

Crayola hosted a celebratory event at its headquarters to honor the 20 winning nonprofits, including Cay Galgon Life House, where representatives from each organization gathered to accept their awards. Paula Albanese, Executive Director of Cay Galgon Life House, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the impactful donation.

“This donation fuels our mission to support vulnerable pregnant women and new mothers, empowering them to build self-sufficient and stable lives,” she said. “Crayola’s generosity is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve together and through this gift, we’re able to create lasting change for the women and families who need it most.”

Cay Galgon Life House is grateful to Crayola and its employees for their extraordinary generosity. This gift helps the organization provide critical resources, support, and hope to women and babies in our community, painting a brighter future for those in need.
